Vita Chic was created with the sole purpose of helping women like me. Who would have known that 4 letters would change my life so drastically? Those 4 letters being PCOS. I was 15 years old when doctors diagnosed me with this confusing condition. What the heck was PCOS anyway? The doctors could not have prepared me for what was to come. Between being rushed to the emergency room in the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced (due to an ovarian cyst bursting) to irregular periods and physical side effects like hirsutism, this condition was no joke. I was prescribed a plethora of medications that had terrible side effects and ended up being decorations for my medicine cabinet as I stopped taking them. Even as a child, I was resistant to taking medication. This left my PCOS untreated. Through change of diet, exercise, and supplementation, I have been able to get my PCOS under control. Though I studied fashion and dreamed of being a Buyer, the universe had other plans for me. I ended up in the natural supplement industry over 10 years ago and have been working with various companies since. I was fortunate enough to develop this supplement with the help of medical professionals who are knowledgeable about the ingredients we have chosen and their efficacy. Though Vita Chic is well known for our supplement, you may notice we also offer skin care. Why? Because a woman is so much more than her medical condition. When we look good, we feel good, so it is important that we not only focus on internal health. I am thrilled to offer products to my fellow cysters (women with PCOS) and “sisters” (women who don’t have PCOS) and hope they can make as much of a positive impact on your well-being as they have on mine.
